Paul J
I caught this on Friday when Breaming- what is it? my guess is a scorpion fish. I know these as Sculpin which we used to catch in the states but a lot bigger say 2-3lbs. These used to be great eating but you had to remove the spines before they came aboard as if you got spiked your fishing was over for the day. There were many stories of charter boat passengers getting stuck in the leg as they scraped past someones fish sack when they had forgotten to remove the fins. Mike Fox
First guess would be a long-spined sea scorpion Paul I used to keep one in a marine aquarium...very fond of baby prawns I remember....oh...and recently hatched cuttlefish!
