Mudeford Bar

Yes - it is deeper but I have been reliably informed ( Paul J ) that you need to keep a bit further left of the first set of red buoys as the bar comes out a bit between them.

Much improved though, although a little narrow at the start. I was wondering if a new channel was dredged or if that channel has always been there whilst we struggled over the shallow part.

Beware.........I only got 0.9 ft under the prop over the last set of buoys leaving the run with a high pressure weather front on neap high tides last week...Which meant 2.6" of actual water depth....

but the depth is far better as you exit the run...but very tight for space on the first buoy before you turn to go out to sea...going to get very tight in the busy season...already had to wait a couple of times as yachts try to Sail Out of the run! laugh.gif

Yes - noticed that the entrance to the run ( coming in from the sea ) was somewhat shallow - we had 1.9ft reading and the boat which I was behind was digging up sand.

( Managed to polish the paint off my skeg in the harbour coming in today ).
