islander99 Posted April 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 Hi all Thanks for your help. Area to be fished very rockey so i guess paternoster is the way to go. I often fish very rockey areas for bass and always use a long flowing trace so I would not use a paternoster just because of the rough ground but only if it is thought to be a better rig for bream, which I think is what you are suggesting. Mike Fox Posted April 16, 2007 Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 I've used a simple running ledger with a "rotton bottom" for most of my fishing for years. You lose the odd bit, but it's very quick to set up, and with care doesn't tangle too badly.
