Ok so the move south is taking longer than planned, and I have tinkered around for weeks on the boat while on my drive, so the plan now is to bring her down to Poole and just Launch and Retrieve till I'm moved down.

Hi, having been there done that and own the Tshirt I can offer the following advice.

 

We have trailed a Samurai (Warrior clone) and launched at any state of the tide at Cobbs paying

Just a thought or two, you could try Christchurch for moorings/marina.

 

Others on the forum may be able to give you better info on costs and locations

 

The other is to store the boat on the trailer and launch from Rockley, Cobbs or Christchurch or even Weymouth.

Store boat where I keep mine until you move and settled.

Thanks guys, when we do move ( another viewing today ) I plan on using Cobbs, I can store the boat at my daughters in Hamworthy, so it looks like launching at Cobbs for the odd trip out when I bring her down.

Had a look at the dry stack system, like it !! but haveing put 6 weeks into removing the old Antifoul and putting on Coppercoat, I'd better make the most of it and use the mooring.
