60litre Blue Barrel

Does anyone have one of those 60litre blue barrels locally?(Bournemouth)

 

I am looking for the one with the clamp-on lid.

 

I know I can get one from Solent Plastics in Millbrook, Soton. But would like it in the next couple of days and I can't get over there this week.

 

I have all the other bits to mak a livebait well, just short of the most important part - without it I find the water goes everywhere!!!

I have a barrel - I have had one collected for me from Solent plastics. I wasn't expecting it to be collected until later in the week.

 

Charlie is looking for one if anyone can help.

If you can get out, you know where to try.

 

I'd recommend a fast sinking line to get down enough. Although some are near the surface, more were down 10m or more; a sinking line will allow the flies to go up and down ??

Apparently the better lines for fly fishing are a sink tip........fished in shallower water. Give gruffy a PM, and he will put you right, as he fishes almost exclusively with the fly.
