British Record Tope

Just got back to find this email from one of my customers.

 

His brother in law (Cedric and friend Norman Tweedle) were fishing aboard Ian Burrett's boat "On Yer Marks" in Scotland when they landed a monster tope that gave a weight / length best guess of 104lb.

The fish would have smashed the British record, but she was released unharmed.

 

Norman Tweedle was the angler.

It looks like we are not the only ones preaching catch and release

 

I believe that is the second record smashed recently but not claimed for the sake of the fish

 

I hope like the chap who landed the big Thresher , this angler gets the praise he deserves
