djredrupp
remember that there is a water restriction zone where you cant go! as those arrows fly pretty low! Dan
Paul D
News to me - I don't recall any restrictions when we last went to see them ( 2 years ago ) - and they go right over the top of the boats. Maybe we shouldn't have been where we were
djredrupp
still looking for the exact coordinates but... http://www.thisisdorset.net/display.var.16..._the_arrows.php There will also be a mile-long maritime exclusion zone in operation just off Bournemouth Pier to meet basic safety requirements between 11am and 11.25am and 11.50am and 12.30pm. Coddy
Nice one Mark. I hope those "do gooders" on the the Echo's forum page about the carbon footprint of all those watching and how they got there, choked on the lack of air! charlieannear
Watched from the clifftop and as always was awesome. Well done guys. If I was a bad guy cowering behind some sandbags somewhere with that lot on the warpath I think I would be very unlikely to stick my head up! Let alone get in my antiquated combat fighter and get up in the blue for a dogfight! And lets face it, that's what the Red Arrows are for- to display our Air Superiority in a Peaceful Manner. If another car came as close to me on the motorway as those guys are to each other in the air, it would definitely be brown undies time! Not bad at all for a bunch of Ruperts! And those idiots commenting about carbon footprints are probably the same ones who were calling anglers 'barbaric' on the thresher story, and who are probably disgusted at the prospect of next year's air show and the Edited August 17, 2007 by charlieannear
