charlieannear
Been meaning to ask this since last weekend but keep forgetting. On the Saturday before the Lure comp, I decided, as one of those "5 Minute Jobs" to swap the small handle that is standard on a 6000 for a 'power handle' that I sourced from that auction site. It was a sunny day so I (stupidly) decided to sit out on the patio. Anyway, long story short, there is now a small spring circlip somewhere on my patio that should be attached to my reel! Please can someone tell me where I can get a replacement, and what I need to ask for? Ta, C.
alun j.
Hi Charlie, Come over to me and I can give you one; which one is it, the small one or the tiny one? I have both. Alun.
Sinbad
Charlie If uncle Alun can't sort it for you.... If you have got larger more complicated bits to source, contact Pure Fishing (UK) ltd Unit 8H Marsh Bank Crewe CW2 8UY service centre 0845 0500093 email contactus@uk-purefishing.com I have had loads of bits from these very nice and efficient people and mostly on trust, allowing me to get on and repair the reel without faffing arround waiting ages for parts to arrive. great white
Charlie I too tend to take the reels outside when cleaning over the years I have started to strip them over a tray or washing up bowl to catch the elusive small parts when I drop them. That tip may help in the future Charlie
charlieannear
Thanks for the info Gents. With the velocity that this circlip took off, I think I'd better spread a 5m tarp out next time!
