jack
Help please. I had to buy a new P,C,..I set it all up and everything works fine except for 2 points.. 1. the @ and " are reversed. [ my daughters lap- top has the same problem ] 2. The script lettering on all the sites [this one included] is so small I can barely read it .I have used Tool Bar/View/Text size and slected LARGEST. And although this has improved my Home page and such things as my Msn Livemail. and Favourites .it doesnt work on Orange-mail or other internet sites. It is presumably cureable, but can someone please tell me how.? jack
Paul D
Jack, The first problem maybe because you have the keyboard set to US instead of UK layout. ( You will probably find your
Sprinter
Jack, your other problem is probably screen resolution, right click on your desktop background and select properties > Settings > and on the screen resolution section (bottom left) move the slider to the left, As its new its probably on 1600x1200 try 1152x864 press OK and if you like it OK again if you don't like it select no and it will go back to what it was previously. It is probably a good idea to write down the screen resolution before you start that way you can always set it back to the way it was quickly. If that doesn't work let us know
daz
all advice posted previous is spot on also if its a 19"monitor put it to 1280x1024 if its 17 inch try 1024x768 or if you got a 22" 1650x1050 these are the standard sizes to try if you got a 22" and are playing games you may want to back it down a bit incase your gfx card cant handle it and get rubbish fps ,youll know this is the case because as you play your screen will stutter called fps lag hope this helps

Paul D
Jack, You think you have it bad with the " and @ reversed. We have pc's here which use Swedish language but which have UK keyboards. Nightmare !
