Afishionado Posted June 10, 2004 Author Report Posted June 10, 2004 Does it fish better at high or low pressure? What is consider high and low? 1031 milli bars is very high so 1029mb is quite high. Generaly high pressure is good for fishing in the summer and some species feed profilicly during pressure rises (plaice for one) Rule of thumb....... If the Needles look realy hazy from Poole entrance then it's high pressure. which equals settled weather for a time If they are crystal clear then it's low pressure and you need to watch out for strong winds on weather fronts.
