DommyBoy
Hallo-bloody-luya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well after having the boat craned off the trailor about 6 weeks ago, we have finally got the trailor fixed, stub axel's replaced, new bearings, trailor rubbed down and repainted.....and looking half decent! Getting the boat back on the trailor in the next few days so hopefully there is still enough time for the boys of 'DAT DAM BOAT' to get out amongst the cod that seem to be gettin caught everywhere! Hopefully plan a trip out within a fortnight if someone wants to buddy us for a trip.....need a buddy as its been so bloody long i have forgotten what anything does! Fingers crossed for some catch reports from Dan & I before the season ends next month! Dom

DommyBoy
Cheers fella's! Yeah i know Alun, its sods law, just as we can eventually go fishing, the weather turns too crap to go out but fingers crossed for a break soon as i want a cod before the season ends and they all bugger off. Paul, Dan told me what happened on Neo last weekend, what a shocker. Good luck with the fixing of it mate and ill be well up for buddying/crewing/ or being crewed when we can. I want to catch a cod! alun j.
Dom, It sounds like last winter 'infected' you with 'cod fever' [ long incubation??]. Good luck......no cure.....even long periods of abstinence doesn't stop itching! ATB., Alun.
great white
Not sure why, but they seem to have that effect on most of us. They are so scarce and unpredictable, yet we all spend hours/days fishing with box after box of food quality squid in the hope of landing one. If it were food we were after, we would surly target whiting and bass If it were a bend in the rod then congers seem to be everywhere, and are likely to be heavier. But no, its COD we want and ones like this we dream about Charlie

plaicemat
So, how's that Friday weather window? Here in Oxfordshire, I've just been out and put the bung in Stingray so as not to be caught unawares. I'll keep watching though, getting deperate for a dangle. Terry.
