sTTu
I saw this on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Anchor-line-s-s-eye-...1QQcmdZViewItem Seems like quite a good price for the various lenghts, would anyone know if this is the right type of rope for anchor rope ? I was think that 13mm would be good. Thanks sTTu
gaffa
sTTu. Same EBAY Shop but I recommend the anchorplait rather than braid. I bought 100metres 2 years ago and it is super to handle and still going strong. I've also spliced it to anchor chain which is pretty easy and gives you a very strong joint. For the type and quality of rope the price is excellent see details below- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...52BSI%26otn%3D4 Peteg
Rob
I have recently bought a 220meter roll of 10mm 3 strand nylon twist from http://www.ropesandtwines.com for
Paul D
I bought some 10mm three strand nylon from barry Edwards ( The Ebay site quoted ) and it as smooth as silk. However, I then purchased three whole reels of 12mm three strand nylon for Maverick, Bob F and myself and I was disappointed with this rope as it was nowhere near as supple as the 10mm rope I had bought before. Motto of the story is :- get a sample before buying a whole reel as one nylon rope is not the same as another.
