Hi guys and gals,

 

For those of you who don't know, Shell are running a Drivers Club loyality scheme, you get a card to swip each time you fill up with any Shell fuel and oil.

Wightlink take Tesco vouchers, you could always do a bit of trolling between Lymington and Yarmouth.

Never been to the Isle of White in your boat? Yarmouth is a great overnight for a fishing weekend, as is Weymouth - although I am expecting you to join us in Alderney this year which is even better Jack!

Next year Alderney will pay for itself easily, and Cherbourg is starting to look like a great overnight stop that will pay for dinner too.....

Hi Duncan,Andy used to visit and stay on theI.O.W. when he was a mad "Gin palace owner"... I was refering to my Campervan exploits,Nice vehicle but tends to leak a lot at sea.Hence the use of ferries.. laugh.gifdry.gif jack

even the lucky ba@tards being referred to aren't as lucky as most non company car drivers seem to think!

 

I voluantarily gave up company paid private milage becasue the income tax to the revenue in respect of the benefit in kind was more than the value.

 

equally I currently pay Gordon (still think of it as him not Alaistair) close on 400 a month just to have my company car sitting on my drive and available to use.

 

I am not bleating - it's my choice after all so I must think it worth it overall - but it's nothing like the benefit it was 12 years ago when I paid about
