Coddy
So what's the replacement then Simon? I am sure someone will buy her quickly with all that gear! Coddy
alun j.
To anyone interested......... this is a lot of boat for the money!! Having fished on her several times with Simon, I can add.......... ...........easy to launch and retrieve ...........fast boat ...........large fishing area ............large livebait tank with pump, built-in under transon seat ...........rear 'door' in transom [would be useful for diving]. This boat won't be hanging about for long !! Alun.
Paul J
I agree with AJ - this is a good package thats been looked after PJ
Sinbad
I'll 'third' that Simon told me that the 'sea toilet' was pristine condition, never been used.... When I took a look, it was still in the cardboard box, i.e unwrapped..... cant get lighter use than that !!! The whole boat is a really nice piece of kit, a bargain, good luck Simon! Paul D
Simon, I am sure your boat will go quickly. I can vouch for the boat having fished on her twice now. One of the better looked after boats I must say. I bet the replacement one is going to be something pretty impressive. If I had not sold my X-Trail I would have been interested in her, but a little heavy to tow with my small car. Paul
britboard
Not as heavy as you may think Paul, with everything on board its just about a 900kg, i used to tow it behind a Escort sized car when i first got it and launch and recover on my own all the time. its so easy with the rollers on the trailer. Fugazi
If I had not sold my X-Trail I would have been interested in her Paul, It's not the boat for you Paul as you've pointed out to me many times, the problem lies with the Raiders gull wing hull shape. The constant wave action slapping against the hull tunnel at anchor scares the fish! Gordon
britboard
gordon i think its more technique rather than boat noise, that the problem anyhow price on boat now reduced to
Sinbad
What did you plump for in the end Simon ?? Hope we will see you out on the water soon ? Regards Paul
britboard
Sold to a couple chaps from Wrexham as their first boat, they are seasoned charter clients and are going to use it on the north Wales coastline. Had loads of enquiries from B&O from as far afield as Copenhagen, and about ten phone calls from muppets asking if its right that they scare fish when at anchor because they had read it on this this forum, i assured them all it was just Gordon that can't catch from Raiders and not the general population The new boat should clear customs in about 2 weeks and then its off for CE/RCD marking then me and Alun will test it to the max. If anyone is toying with the idea of buying a new boat from the US, now is the time with a weak dollar and rising fuel prices over there are some real bargins to be had at the moment. here are some pictures of what i have bought, hope to see you all out there soon Simon L

Paul D
Looks ideal for plugging for bass - I can see why PJ likes it
alun j.
I can see the similarities with PJ's............but the gunnels are higher!! Subtle hull colour......... but we can't see how many horses on the Yam!.. ....knowing Simon, there'll be lots!! Looking forward to a smooth ride..........and creeping upon the bass! Just call when she arrives Simon!, ATB., Alun.
great white
What a lovely looking boat I hope you have lots of fun and Fish on her Has she been named yet? Charlie
britboard
thanks guys, you are all welcome out on her at any time if you want to try her out. The new owners picked up Cimarra this morning and drove her of to her new home in north wales, it was a sad moment for me its not until you see your pride and joy driving off down the road with new owners you realise how much you get attached to your boat. still never mind new boat coming soon (a new child to raise). heres the new owners of Cimarra looking very pleased with themselves. The new boat has been named "Play Hooky" and has a yamaha f150txr four stroke on the back which shoves it along at 52mph about 35 minutes to the Rips, i reckon, if i can afford the fuel. All offers of how to creep up on Bass will be gratefully accepted as my previously bullish approach wasn't very good. Simon L
Manic Moore
She looks a peach Simon. This was the layout I was tempted to get after my Dory Eurosport, I had been looking at getting the Bin liner Trophy 18, also from the states, but was seduced by Enticer. I for one would definately jump at the chance to crew for you one day. I hope she's everything you want A very jealous Gordon
