For those who would like to keep their engine as salt free as possible, the distributor of Salt X has some dispensers to attach to your hose which then goes onto the engine muffs.

This dispenser delivers the correct dosage as it is flushing around the engine.

 

As a tip I would warm the engine up first then connect the dispenser and catch some of the returned water so you can wash down rods and reels.

 

I might help to keep those exspensive repair bills away for a bit longer.
