Nice write up cheers. Not sure I would want to be eyeball to eyeball with those conger!

I think I prefer more of a gunnel!!

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Great write up guys and what looks like an excellent away day to the Bristol Channel in perfect conditions.

The fictures really give a feel for up close and personal conger fishing.

If you add a few codling to that mix I am sure that our trailer boaters must be considering a trip, although from memory there are no slips at blue anchor.

Well done

Ah yes.

I remember trotting down this one a few yeers ago, walking the 'old ladies' dog.

You could use a small trolly............ maybe!

I haven't got the chart for this area so info a bit scetchy, but it should be on 'the net.'

Hi folks,

Useable slip at Minehead despite a slight dogleg, low water means going out onto sand with some muddy patches - be wary. Blue Anchor has two slips onto the beach, both a bit too tight. Good slip at Watchet Marina but you'd be restricted by lock times for getting in and out. Porlock Wier is probably pushing a bit too far down the channel and only accessible 2 hours either side high water.
