Coddy Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 (edited) For those who have not seen this months Boat Fishing mag, Billy Short is leading the Boat Fishing League. Although he is representing another club (spit! spit! ) I am sure as a club we wish him well in the final I see the club's highest member position is Pete Russell (Snr), Alun Jones, Dan Taylor, Dave Chapman(?), Carl Hurren, Gordon Moore, Peter Russell (Jnr) all showing in the results so far. A good showing of members from our club. Well done to all those that have got onto the score sheet. Coddy Thanks Paul edited list of names. Dave Edited September 24, 2008 by Coddy Quote

Paul D Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 I thought Pete Russell Snr was highest at 7th place ? ( or was that the previous months mag ? ) Quote
Gnasher Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 well, i dunno quite how i managed to get on the list. ive only fished 2 comps Danny Quote
boybilly Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Be nice if all those mentioned fished it. The problem with your comps lads is that all except for one have fallen on our comp dates. The one that didnt was cancelled. Also, Mark and Rich no longer have a boat so fishing your end would be difficult. I used to go with Jaz but not heard from him for a while. You still about mate? Only got a year of mortgage left so look out then, plenty of fishing coming after that. Sammy is still really keen, and when I say keen???? Almost every night that I am free he wants to go. Love it me!! Regards to all, BB Quote
great white Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Well done Billy Nice to see the results are still coming good. and to hear Sammy is still "Dragging you out" We may try and get across your way for a night very soon, can you PM me a couple of places on route that may be worth trying, Nothing to serious as Wendy will be onboard for a social weekend. I fancy trying for triggers and maybe a few drifts on the banks, if they are fishing. All; advice appreciated Cheers Charlie Quote
