Looks like there might be a little window of calm on Mon. morning.

 

Neap tides... so no problems of getting in\out

 

With little confidence of getting mackerel after this weekend stirs up the water, I could be relying on frozen bait to try for triggers

 

.......or I might have a play with a castnet and see if I can get some small livebait first... then go bassing!!

 

Weather will dictate ..... but am expecting to do 'Office hours'

They where using a cast net from the end of the of quay by the small slip last week

 

two lads put a bit of ground bait in cast the net they had about 6or 7 each time

they cast there net i have been looking for a net

Hi mark next time you are at rockly i will show you my cast net,i got mine of e bay but have not used it, every time i have time its blowing a gale you can imagine the fun on a windy day with never having used it ,hows that shinny prop going on sparta ?

Ive not used it yet the bellhoseing keeps filling with water so i am going to replace the deck so the water will bail out and not go into the bilge
