Rob
Martyn - not sure some where deep and rough and snaggy! Paul - yes, plenty of other conger we all managed at least one (Charlie, Sam, Will and myself)- Charlie was really showing us how it was done! Squid seemed to be bait of the day. Though my new secret weapon bait caught the biggie Rob Edited November 17, 2008 by rob francis

great white
Hi Rob, Will, Sam Nice to have you onboard yesterday, well done Rob for a specimen eel and doubling your PB for the species. Its a shame the weather was not up to the website forecasts. We maneged to get the end of the flood tide on a wreck and it was wobbly but fishable. 9 eels landed and a few lost to various rough bits that seemed well away from the main wreckage. I was pleased that we did not try to stay out there for the ebb, as even inshore it was not too comfortable when the wind was against the tide. Inshore was very dissapointing, 3 small whiting I am sure if we had stayed for the easing tide it would have improved but considering the weather a run home at last light seemed a safer call. Good to have Sam onboard again, he even let me have a drive Big thanks to Will for the lovely cake and soup . I had better watch out or I will have to buy a bigger floatation suit. LOL Charlie
