Mikey B Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Can any one tell me how to update a Garmin Blue Chart data card? I have a card for the English Chanel in my Garmin 188C plotter dated 05. Can I get this updated to the current issue or do I have to buy a new chart. I Quote

petesnr Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 the changes are significant if you use buoys as waypoints but otherwise the old charts are just as useful and wont cost you the update. I use the the middle of channels as waypoints for in and out of Poole so the positions of man made objects is less relevant. Peter Quote
