alun j.
Good luck to anyone planning on going out this weekend. It now looks like strong winds will soon be back........ first from the North, then back to the West in the week. I hope they are wrong.....as they have often been.....this forecast is quite different to what it was yesterday afternoon! Alun.

alun j.
Today, the forecast was not good, but when I went for a walk down at Hengist H., the sea looked flat. Admittedly the wind {NW} was offshore, but I wondered how far out the relative calm extended.... it was possible to see 'Growlers' over towards the Needles. I'm tied up a bit tomorrow, but thinking of going to see on Weds..... probably X-ray or out to the Dolphins if poss. Forecast is bitter!![cold and wet!!]......but intend to wrap up warm........I'll even find my gloves. Any other masochists fancy the spare seat on Gastro in search of a few whiting?? Alun. PS......only going if it looks OK inshore to start with!!
