Shropfisher
I was given a ref the other day that included bouy 17.2 in Poole harbour, I have scanned my charts but can not find it, can any one advise ? most bouys have a lat & long to them, but sadly this info was not passed on. great white
The buoy numbers in the harbour have changed over recent years, but I have never heard of any with decimal points or any over 100 are you sure that it is not the old 72 buoy ? Shropfisher
The description was seventeen two, so I presumed it was 17.2 , since you can't have 2 bouys with the same number.
great white
I wonder if word of mouth has changed 72 to 17.2 It may help to know that 72 is a Port Buoy very close to hutchins [73]. They are past the Ro Ro terminal where the main chanel changes direction towards the Marines camp. Hope that helps in some way Charlie
