Guest colin Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 sunday saw us out on the patch couldnt find maccy so came into b'mouth pier and was getting a string a drop! went out ot our mark me 4 smoothies to 5lb, 1 bream. 4 doggies and a 8lb thorny Nick 1 smut, 2 tope 4lb Nicks tope although not biggest fish in the world were taken on a 1/2 - 3/4 oz casting weight spinning rod and 1/2oz slidding float kit. was very amusing to see his rod bent over double and these fish having a fighting chance on the gear used, proper sport! Only fished 2 hours then came in as getting too rough Quote
