Terry Hi Terry It would only be considered a local mark to Parkstone Bay if you didn't mind the 35 mile steam to just the otherside of the South Parade Pier, Southsea, Portsmouth. Quote
wrigler Posted March 26, 2009 Author Report Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks Tom , In my ignorance I thought it was code for a local mark. I'd better pack my pajamas and toothbrush for an overnight stay!! Thanks again. Terry. Quote
Osprey Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Terry Tom beat me to it! Apparantly there are some mussel beds in the area that attract the Plaice. Just East of the old submarine defence barrier (big concrete blocks!) that stretches from the fort to the shore. Can't miss it this time of the year - it looks like an over-filled marina!
