Gnasher
I popped out tonight for a few hours night fishing. The origional plan was to head for the clan and bag a few eels, but as we passed xray, we doubled backed on our self and tied up to a pot bouy for a couple of hours fishing with a ray or two in mind. Out with the 8lb class gear, micro braid and baby multipliers, only 3oz was needed in the small ebbing tide. Out came the squid and a couple of maccy all left over from my winter codding trips and as soon as darkness came, the tips started bouncing. We only fished from 8pm-10.30pm and the fishing was good, a mixture of dogs and rays (all comming to me, except one dog as my crew spent the whole time being sick ). Mirror calm water, clear skies, warm air temp......summers nearly here
