alun j. Posted August 7, 2004 Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 Grabbed a few hours at start of the tide this morning : interested to fnd where to avoid weed [ following recent reports ]. Quickly stocked up with mackeral for bait...... then the 'algal test' ! Close in and up yo half way along weed made fishing , ineffective ??? [ or choose suitable adjective !!]....... but, further out, although a bit troublesome, fishing was much less affected .......... ...... in a couple of hours managed half a dozen good sized bream [2. 5 lbs. ].
