Tie the trailer down with a chain, remove the hitch put a padlock though the bolt hole ,then take a wheel or 2 off, the insurance company will ask for at least 2 or 3 methods of securing the trailer, what a world we leave in. keep a piece of 4x2 under your bed not that you should use it of course.

Just a note to clear up any misunderstanding about what AT are looking for, they are looking to have a Local Committee based within the IFCA area who sole interest is conservation, it would be made up of anglers, fishing trade, ie charter skippers and hopefully IFCA fisheries officers and the like, Anglers would not be representing there Club but hopefully would share a like mind, they would not be elected by the Wessex Region Committee but there Chairman would, they would also be able to elect them selves a rep to sit on the new national committee.
-
Note from David Mitchell which also applies to anyone else. Wessex region Angling Trust is changing with our agreement, If he is interested I would like to suggest that Mike Fox from PBSBAC is approached to be involved and even possibly be the representative to sit on the national Fishery and Conservation committee. I talked to him after the meeting in Poole and he has since started some good threads on the PBSBAC forum. I've also attached Mike's email so you can see how proactive he was after the meeting. If you've got any thoughts on this then please let me know. (sorry to put this on you Mike) Chris Holloway Chairman AT Wessex

North Haven Yacht Club may have some mooring availble this year try them, works ok for me

Any conservation method that we can assist with will help fish, if we cant control the rest there is no reason why we cant stand up and be counted, some good people over the years has said the bass needs protection, its no good keep saying its somebody else's problem we need to lead by example, it also helps keep the anti anglers at bay.
-
While I have not been impressed with the AT and how they work for
-
i can see this note fits a lot of people including me

The offer was made to Neil of SSFC at our last meeting to help with distribution of leaflets and/or maybe contribute to either publication or distribution of posters/signs. That offer is still open and will no doubt be made again. We (the club) within reason can offer monetary help. Time in designing literature or notices is a different matter. Most of the committee are busy people and give their time willingly to the club but there are limits. Now if we were to get offers of help from the members then maybe more could be done. Any graphic designers out there? Martin Keep up you lot, PDSAA did a deal with the fisheries with the display cabinet on the quay which shows all the info regarding the bass area, its in last months free paper sea angling news, and i did tell you all that all clubs can use it for there comps, newsletter etc at the meeting a couple of months ago. chris h
