I have just returned from three weeks in France taking my motor home to Il De. Re island off La Rochella. The French enjoy there fishing but I was shocked to see them catching and keeping 2 inch bass and bream about 3 inches. They told me you eat them like white bait. The fish are in the salt marsh pools and channels. Very short sighted. Bob
