Hi i have a mariner 115 hp that was started on very old fuel and then conked out after 5 mins empty old fuel replaced with new started up ran lovely for 5 or 6 mins then conked out checked as much of the fuel system as i can . can anyone recommend a good marine engineer to contact thanks paul it is 4 stroke fuel injected internal tank boat is quicksilver 640 thanks paul

Have to turn the steering wheel many times (15 to 20) at least before any real response from engine, then it seems to turn suddenly and you need to compensate in the opposite direction 15 to 20 times. I believe it is hydraulic and cable steering mechanism. Can any one help?
