  5. That is an interesting bit of kit. I’ve certainly never seen it before. However is it really needed? If you have troubles with that knot slipping then maybe it’s not been tied properly or you need a different knot?

  16. You can get casting practice weights. Which are basically a cue ball with an eye screwed into it. These fly well and don’t get bogged into the ground. Can also be used on the beach. Or make your own http://www.paulgoesfishing.com/how-to-guide-make-your-own-casting-ball/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Good luck. Hope the last remaining cod finds your bait. But just let it go again if it does so we can have a crack at it next season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You could go to your local open green space and (with caution) practise your casting with just a lead weight. It will give you the feel of the rods, and you won’t have to play catch up for distance once on the beach! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Well done Mike. Without breaking the bank seriously you have made a good choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Good luck with the new engine. Sounds like a great decision that you’ll enjoy for a long time to come! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. Mike you can spreed sheet all you like. But it’s not until your on the beach chucking a lead that you discover whether a rod is for you or not. If your after a continental to handle all situations then you really need to look at the AFAW FS pro. If you can find one or a similar rod in the range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
