Wow after just a week or so from ordering and my kastking rover60L arrived this morning. I’ve loaded it up with mono as I propose to use it for uptiding. Firstly I have to say it looks a lovely reel and the build quality looks on first impressions very good !! The action is very smooth also. Two things that I have noticed that are slight negatives are these..... firstly there is no quick release lever to go into free spool, you have to use the star drag to release it for casting and (but this may be my spoiling station), the line does not lay totally even on the spool. It is slightly thicker one end to the other. But, for £43 inc p&p I’m not going to loose sleep over it !! Can’t wait to get out and try it now !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not this time Greg, I couldn’t catch a cold yesterday !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Soutampton FC have had to turn down a lucrative shirt sponsorship deal from a pet food company. The contract would have been worth a lot of money but the manager decided that having his players running around wearing shirts saying 'Winalot' would be taking the piss. I'll tell you what I really hate about my new Thai bride. She keeps leaving the toilet seat up Just found out my uncle has left me a stately home in his will. I have no idea where Sod Hall is, I'm just off to Google it now I got a new job with the Samaritans last week. I tried to phone in sick this morning but they talked me out of it! If I was a plastic surgeon... I would definitely put a squeaky toy in every breast implant. When my wife suggested we try playing doctors and nurses. I was really hoping for something sexier than being left in a corridor for two days! I said to my wife over breakfast "Were you faking it last night?" She said "No, I really was asleep!" After my prostate examination the doctor left, then the nurse came in & whispered 3 words that no man wants to hear "who was that?" Virus-free. www.avg.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve just ordered a kastking rover 60L left handed on the back of this thread recommendation. £43 inc p&p from China ! Even if it only lasts a year it would be a good buy ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ray, have you looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow mate ?? It’s not very nice and a 71 mile journey in a 24ft boat with only 40 horses on the back will ... A. Take a hell of a long time. B. Take a hell of a lot of fuel. Please make sure you have double and triple checked all your facts and figures in regards to the engine, an outboard with only 1 hour time served is not run in yet. When I bought my boat with a new engine I was advised not to go past 3000 rpm for the first 10 hours ! Then service it. If you go ahead just make sure the coast guards know your route, planned sailing schedule etc etc etc etc !!! Have a fixed vhf AND a hand held just in case. Good luck. Cheers Charlie, it’s my first attempt, I’ve wanted to go for ages but always something prevented it . Friday looks like the big day, even if solo! Don’t suppose you’ve got some proper coordinates locked away somewhere that may save me some time ?? If not, no worries !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m off out to the Nab tower Friday as the weather is looking great and so is the tide. Ok so I’m in Southampton but...... I have room for an intrepid explorer should any of you guys fancy it ?? Early leave mind, 6.30am on the pontoon !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bob walked into a sports bar around 9:58 PM. He sat down next to a blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV. >> The 10 PM news was coming on. The news crew was covering the story of a man on the ledge of a large building preparing to jump. >> The blonde looked at Bob and said, "Do you think he'll jump?" >> Bob said, "You know, I bet he'll jump." >> The blonde replied, "Well, I bet he won't." >> Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said, "You're on!" >> Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building, falling to his death. >> The blonde was very upset, but willingly handed her $20 to Bob. "Fair's fair... Here's your money." >> Bob replied, "I can't take your money. I saw this earlier on the 5 PM news, so I knew he would jump." >> The blonde replied, "I did, too, but I didn't think he'd do it again." >> Bob took the money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use 30lb spiderwire for everything. It’s thin and does not catch in the tide. For uptiding though I use a fixed spool with 18-20lb mono. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably a lot of you on here have used Dave before for your reel servicing and repairs. But, for you guys that have not, I can thoroughly recommend him. Over the past two weeks I have had all 4 of my multipliers serviced by Dave and have been delighted with the results. I’m not the best (or worst) at looking after my kit but, on return all my reels have looked, smelt and operated like they are brand new !! Wish I’d done it ages ago !! What a wizard !! Thanks Dave ! A virile, middle-aged, Italian guy named Guido was relaxing at his favourite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde. Things progressed to the point where he invited her back to his apartment. After a while they retired to his bedroom where he 'rattled' her in spectacular fashion. After a smoke and brief interlude he asked with a smile, "So, you finish? She paused for a second, frowned, and replied, "No." Surprised, Guido reached for her again, and the rattling resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly amid screams of passion. Finally, Guido comes to a halt. He smiles and asks, "You finish?" Once again, after a short pause, she returns his smile, cuddles closer to him and softly says, "No." Stunned, but damned if he was going to leave this woman unsatisfied, Guido, mustering all his strength and recuperative powers, cranks up for one final burst. In a wild, monumentally frenetic climax they end together, screaming, snorting, bucking, and ripping at the bed sheets. Absolutely and completely buggered, Guido falls onto his back, gasping for air. Barely able to turn his head, he looks into her eyes, smiles proudly and asked again, "You finish?" Barely able to speak, the blond whispers in his ear, "No, I'm Norwegian! Yes Greg you are correct. If we’re 4-6lb I’d probably have dispatched it (if it were legal)!! A double figure bass that has got past all the commercials and nets etc deserves to go back and spawn another generation !!
