    Thanks Mal, I will look closer at the penn. The ones I saw just seemed a bit too strong, more for much bigger fish but I suppose if I do happen to be lucky enough to snare a monster !!     Thanks for all the replies. One thing I forgot to mention is that I need left hand wind !! Also those reels with level wind are not great for uptide casting as they restrict the line release. Anyone know of a left hand wind with lever clutch? I am struggled by the find one that does not cost the same as a house !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I was told by Parker boats that the 660 pilothouse does not need trim tabs also, but due to the offset wheel house "Tarlach" does list slightly to port. I'm considering some myself. Do tell how you get on ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hi, you dont need a gold card (unless you want extreme detail), i have a silver card in my elite 7ti and its good enough (for me). i believe you can update them and add stuff to them also, not sure how though to be honest ! you can buy them on ebay , just get the correct one for your area! Neil ( sorry only just noticed the date on the post) LOL !!

    How about self levelling tabs such as the ones in the photo, find them on eBay, different sizes for boat and engine size. Easy to fit yourself as no wires needed !! Neil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
