  1. Lowrance Globalmap 3300C colour chartplotter/module, boxed, excellent > condition, about 8 months old, used about a dozen times.
  2. Or you'll need a pee:)
  3. Hi Geoff, My boat is insured through Cheers Insurance Brokers, and with Royal and Sun Alliance. www.cheersinsurance.com Tel. 02089435333 I phoned around and got various prices but these beat everyone else by a mile. When I wanted to upgrade the Insurance to include having the boat on a drying mooring within a boatyard, there was no extra charge, it was just placed on my policy document. I can highly recommend them although I have not yet had to make a claim (long may that continue). Hope this helps, Eddie.
  4. Hi All, I have had no response from Supermotodaz regarding the fishfinder outfit, so I will make it accessible to anybody who may be interested. I will also be offering it on the IAC list at the same time. Anybody interested, please contact me before Sunday Noon as if no takers I shall list it on Ebay in the afternoon. Eddie.
  5. I regularly wear a flotation suit in the winter, and only wear a lifejacket when I feel the situation warrants it. In the summer, I can have as little as a tee shirt and shorts on with deck shoes, but as it would be too hot to wear a flotation suit in the summer I would be more inclined to wear my lifejacket if I felt I needed it. So once again I suppose it boils down to common sense. Eddie
  6. H Adam, That seems similar to what I am intending using mine for. I think it is important to have balanced outfits, both for fun and for the fishes well being, those that are not being kept for the pot and are being returned, they at least have a chance if theyre not winched up too quickly. Regards, Eddie
  7. Hi Alun, I at present have a 6500 c3 cs sports mag that I use with 10lb braid on 12lb uglystick, and a 7000 c4 ld that I use on my 20lb class rod. I have just ordered a TLD 15 and TLD 20 that I will use on 30lb and 50lb class outfits respectively. I only expect to use the TLD 20 for Sharking so it will not get a lot of use but I think I will use the TLD 15 a lot for conger and wrecking. I am in the process of fineing down my tackle and keeping it more appropriate to my angling needs at present (all beach stuff either sold or up for sale). Regards, Eddie.
  8. I will have a Lowrance X88DF fishfinder for sale in the next couple of weeks. about 8 months old, in boxed, excellant condition and full working order with all cables, fittings and manual with a dual frequency transon mount transducer. You can see current price and spec here :- http://website.lineone.net/~phiadmarine/x88df.htm Reason for selling, I have just purchased an X136DF which is NMEA 2000 compatible to go with my Globalmap 3300C chartplotter. Reason for the 2 week delay prior to selling, have to wait for the next set of spring tides to enable removal of current transducer and speed log. Price wanted for all,

  10. Hi Alan, I am very used to using a router, one of my other hobbies is woodworking and I have 3 different routers. If I was thinking doing the windows I think I would do the rough cut on my bandsaw with a fine blade first, although I have a good jigsaw the finished cut would probably be better with less risk of scratching the material. But I have to say your finished job looks excellant in the photos. Eddie.
  11. I have discovered the difference between the two reels, it would appear that the TLD 15 has a lever drag and the TLD 15/30 has a star drag so it would seem that LD in TLD obviously does not stand for anything to do with Lever Drag. Eddie.
  12. The windows look very clear now. How long did it take altogether, and how difficult was the cutting of the perspex? Eddie
  13. Hi All, I have a couple of ABU Reels that I have surplus to requirements, they are Ambassadeur 10000CL never used, mint boxed, no line. Ambassadeur 5500 C3 CT Mag Elite never used, mint boxed line loaded. If anyone is interested I would like
  14. Hi All, Trying to find out the differences between the Shimano TLD 15 lever drag reel and TLD 15/30 lever drag reel, does anyone know the differences, if any please? Eddie.
  15. Hi Adam, I have sold many items on ebay, but I thought I would offer it to supermotobaz first as he is just starting to fit his boat out and this is a great spec machine at the price. I was going to put it on the for sale list later when I had removed the bits from my boat, but I made this offer now so as to give him the chance prior to him buying something else. I have a friend who works for a distributor in marine electronics, so am frequently being offered gear to test/buy so there may well be a few more bargains to be had in the future. Eddie
