My mooring on the Lymington Yacht Haven wave screen is now available as after more than 10 years on the waiting list I’ve been offered a mooring on the Council run Dan Bran pontoon. Although part of the Lymington Yacht Haven marina setup the wave screen moorings (there are only 6 or so) are much cheaper as you need a very short dinghy row to reach the boat and there is no power. It’s accessible at all states of the tide and I’ve enjoyed using it for 3 years, they only become available once in a blue moon as most are used by charter boats (Last Laugh, White Maiden, Voyager). It is a pretty big mooring, anything up to around 14m will fit, it's right by the marina entrance with a good view and quite private.
