Bream Comp

Any Kayakers fishing the Bream comp on Sunday 16th May?

Want to try a Mark I have heard of.Might have to launch over Studland side though or face a long paddle from Sandbanks

Hi Mark, I'm aiming to be around Sunday, back from Wales Saturday.

I'm not sure of the comp times but suspect it favours a Swanage launch and use tide both ways.

Looks a bit blowy from the SW. Metcheck and Windguru boith forecasting 16-17Knts.

Lets hope they are all wrong....

 

I wont be fishing, sadly....

All the forecasts I have seen are predicting 17 - 20mph winds from the south/s-west

The most I go out in is 10mph,Its way too dangerous on a kayak in anything more than that.

I am going to have a go tomorrow at Poole Patch seeing as light winds up to 5mph are forecasted.Early start at 5am .Then look at the forecast tomorrow afternoon for Sunday.
