Madness had a slow day. Through the bridge at 7:30 then off to Dancing ledge. We managed about 6/7 bream but all small. I would guess the largest was one which fell to me and was probably 1lb. Jim had a couple of strap congers we all had dogfish. As the tide changed we moved back to ballard where we did didly squat. Spent the last hour in the harbour where we repeated the success we had at Ballard

Welcome Derek good advice from those above. An express way to learn is look out for crew offers and take advantage of them. Also be good to see you at a meeting sometime, Oakdale conservative club on the first Tuesday of every month.

Hmm clowns error, I have an isolator switch that stops the windlass from being used. This is very useful when taking the grandchildren out as they cannot hurt themselves upfront by accidentally touching the operating switches. Hmm would help if I remember to turn off the isolate switch when fishing Ooops

I agree the meeting seemed fairly positive and it certainly looked as though they were listening. I think what Pia was hearing really woke her up, lets hope she stays awake. Although nothing will ever be decided at one of these meetings but what will happen is seeds will be planted and time will tell whether they take root. The best we can do is keep attending them and plugging our end
