wrasster Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Well, I finally decided that I couldn't wait any longer to take Sea Bee out and try her, so, as my son Rob was off today and available to join me, I let the bees fend for themselves and took my new Aquafish out to sea. We were very pleased with how she handles - much more like driving a car for manoeuvrability than the Quicksilver which preceded her, and goes pretty well for a new engine too! We did have a couple of hours to dangle a few lines, but knew we were really at the wrong state of the tide, so were not disappointed with the day's haul of a few good sized mackerel, a few garfish and some doggies. Back to the grindstone tomorrow - just hope I won't find too many swarms hanging in hedges that should have been pre-empted today! Dennis Quote
Bob F Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Great to hear you finally got to take your Aquafish 23 out at last. How was the 150hp Yamaha with a duo prop? cheers Bob Quote
