I've been searching, without success, to see how the air draught of the new bridge will compare with the existing one.

I assume it will be at least the same.

Does anyone know the answer?

Brian......just checked drgs and it is 2.5 m above mean high water.....can't find it on existing bridge but there is a variable ht sign on bridge I believe.....hope this helps.

Having said this .....my experience of the records regarding Mean High Water in the Poole area is not particularly good..... can be a foot or so adrift ...and if the TS bridge is designed to existing records it may be less !!!
