Brian Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 I've been searching, without success, to see how the air draught of the new bridge will compare with the existing one. I assume it will be at least the same. Does anyone know the answer? Quote
pirky Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 (edited) Brian......just checked drgs and it is 2.5 m above mean high water.....can't find it on existing bridge but there is a variable ht sign on bridge I believe.....hope this helps. Having said this .....my experience of the records regarding Mean High Water in the Poole area is not particularly good..... can be a foot or so adrift ...and if the TS bridge is designed to existing records it may be less !!!
