we had a very early start 5 am , we headed west for a long time to a wreak after travaling 2and a half hours we drifted for maccy 5 mins later full live bait well so on with the coding first drift 5 cod to seven anglers 2 nd drift all seven in 6 cod 1 ling then lost count off fish comming over the gunauls . then we had a shark take some baited hoik eyes snap off and again then it eats aline caught cod folling it all the way to surface not takeing the head so bait up the shark rod and hey presto shark on well wat a fight 4 anglers having a go after about 1 hour or sew 250-300 lb porbeagle landed nowander it gave a good fight tail hooked easly released to fight another day then on with the coding plenty off cod pollack 3ling biggest cod 22lb what a red letter day oh back at 8 30 pm thanks to fred on crimson tide for a brilliant day

Sounds like an excellent day, certainly one to cherish.

I was trying to add those pictures for you, but the email sent is so big it stalls my system at home and I could not even reply.

 

Was the Fish hooked in the Tail or is that a crazy Fred landing system?

 

I have fin hooked a few tope in the past and they are hard to fight that way, I imagine a big shark would be far far worse.

I bet it could realy go that way around

 

It must have been very exciting, I wish I had been there.

 

we hope to give them a couple of trips while the waters warm and Sam is on leave
