derek
Decided I had to go fishing on Monday, so being a pensioner I had to dig bait Sunday evening (at least my crew dug and I picked them up), I let him stop when we had 120 worms. Arrived at the Marina at 9:30, boat was lifted in and we were on our way by 10:00, headed straight to Rob's Rock. Half an hour before the top of the tide the first bite came and after a few minutes a 3lb 9oz plaice was safely in the net. Things then went dead until second high water when 2 more plaice were landed, 2lb 8oz and 1lb 8oz. It's amazing how charter boats home in on you if you start catching, Our Gemma moored 20 yards away, but reported only catching small bream. We then headed home for a nice plaice, french fries and minted peas for tea. Derek
