Maverick Martin
Dean and I were due to go out early doors on Saturday but after a phone call from a customer on Friday I had to work for an hour or so sat first thing. What made things worse was the job was on a roof at sandbanks overlooking a dead flat harbour. How I managed to stay long enough to finish the job beats me, still the money was welcome Eventually got to the boat at around 10am and departed through the harbour at 20 knots (so good without speed limits). First port of call was off of Peveril for macky. Managed a few but was definitely not worth hanging around for so off we go to a favoured ray mark. Stayed there for a few hours and had a few small rays and scrappy bits. Eventually got fed up so headed over to Dolphin sand and again had small rays and tope along with other tiddly bits.. Decided to pack up at around 4pm and cruise back again at 20 knots but not quite as comfortable as earlier in the day but still ok. Not the most exciting of days but nice to be out on the water again. Martin
