great white Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Charlie You must be getting to know some of the Congers out there quite well by now!!!! Tony Tony they all look the same to me mate. and we tend to try differant wrecks so doubt we get the same one very often. I can only say I have definatly caught one eel twice, a small one [25lb] with a badly disformed mouth caught on an inshore wreck on two trips about a month apart many years ago. at least it proves that catch and release works. I would like to see that one again now, they can put on 10lb in a year it would be heavier than that carp Charlie Quote
pirky Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 About time you started your own "tag and release" programme Charlie.......Pity they don't have ears you could "nick " like they do with cattle......Eh? Dave Quote
Rob Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 I had mentioned this before and got in touch with a guy at CEFAS who did fish tagging. To ask if we could and how \ where we coudl get tags - got no reply after his first one though! Quote
