I have the RNLI doing a home visit Sea Check tomorrow.

The obly item I can think I still need is a proper set of flares.

I know it has been posted before, but Inshore or Coastal, and where is the cheapest place to go?

Adam,

I got a set of coastal flares from Pumpkin Marine. They are the ones made by Pains-Wessex ( top notch and I have shares in their parent company smile.gif ) and were around

Adam,

Have you purchased your flares yet?

These are the guys that are sponsoring us this year.

I hope to borrow a set of demo flares from them this week to bring to the club meeting.

On a serious note (hard I know, but bear with me! biggrin.gif ) when I had my sea check last week the RNLI cahp suggested that if we want a life demonstarion on how to use flares the RNLI will give a controlled one for us one night - I was going to bring it up at the next meeting.
