Newboy
Anyone fancy going out either of these 2 days if weather permits? May try south of the Needle for early cod.
Adam F
Maybe Sunday weather permitting - ill be taking BW though....keep an eye on the weather, as youll need it fairly settled to go out south of the needles. Adam
Paul D
Sunday sounds good. I am up for a trip out as I haven't been able to get out for the last 3 weeks now. ( Intend to take Neo out ). I will ask my friend who wanted to go on the Weymouth trip if he would like to crew ( or were you after crew ? ) Presumably you are talking Lymington launch if going south of the Needles ? Newboy
Weather permitting. The forecast is 50/50, anything from a f2-f5 southernly forecasted. If it gets too rough for the needle, I may try the portsmouth side, codlings and cods caught a few weeks ago in Hayling bay. I'll probably launch from Lymington if Needle is an option, anyone know what Town quay is like, is it as steep as Bath Road which we used last time? Paul D
Haven't launched from Town Quay, but have been along to "reccy" it out. There is very little room for manoeuvring there and the slipway is smaller. I think you would have big problems with your boat there ( as I would also ) Bath Road is far superior.
