Coddy
If anyone uses IE8 or earlier and has Windows Vista and is thinking of upgrading to IE9 DONT is has slowed my internet web pages to a crawl and sometimes says no connection! It seems it is becoming a known problem so why hasn't microsoft sorted it out? I have now got to find a way of removing IE9 and reloading IE8 without loosing all my data. I have read that IE9 works well with WIndows 7 but I am not going to keep buying upgrades just to keep my PC working. Dave

Oli
Use Firefox and you'll wonder why you ever considered IE. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/
Paul D
Dave, I use Google Chrome now and it is superb. Loss of connection though - have similar problems at moment, I keep getting failed to resolve dns - I think it is a problem with the ISP ( btinternet at moment ), so could be unfairly blaming IE9 ? Coddy
Thanks Paul As you may know I use BT too and looking through reports it maybe that my router may be a bit long in the tooth and not up to more advanced signals. As I am ADSL broadband user it seems these problems may be more pronounced. Dave
