All,

This Thursday (18th Aug) it is the start of the 4 day Bournemouth Airshow.

Charlie A, Sam A and I expect to be out on Thurday and possibly Friday on StarTurn.

Anyone else thinking of being out on the water for it?

We expect to get a little fishing in too, obviously!!!!

We may be tempted on Sat, but also looking at a possible Sharking trip before Sam drives back to Scotland.

Do you have a program Rob?

Also I see that this Sunday 21st is on the list as the second Families day, or should that have been the reserve date if the first was cancelled?

Not sure we could get a big raft together next to the Airshow biggrin.giftongue.giflaugh.gif

Hi all,

I will be out on the water this wknd with my mate Merlin and his son, hoping to see a few planes and catch a few fish (for a change!!). Plse give us a yell if you spot us as would be nice to meet u. Any tips on a mark to try between poole harbour and IoW would be very welcome too.

having just got back from Yarmouth I assume that today's airshow was either delayed or canceled - worst visibility I have been in for 'just rain'! Could just make out the shadows of a couple of navy vessels (?) off Bournemouth , amongst the thunder and lightening!

have to head back now the weather is improving - typical.

Plenty of floods in Bournemouth - I was supposed to be going to hospital tomorrow at the Nuffield. Now going to Poole because the Nuffield got flooded and part of the roof collapsed and they have no power !!

Sky News even reporting from Bournemouth.

Hi Charlie

Sunday was set as a reserve day in case the first Family day was cancelled due to bad weather

Sunday is my Mother's 80th birthday so I am busy with her at the Priory in Wareham.

It may be nice for those members going to see the air show to anchor close to each other. It is probably not a good idea to raft up in case of wake from other boats.

If you are going Charlie may be you could let people know where you are so they can join you.

Tony
