Brian
So who's claiming one on their species list?
Leicester Fisheagle
Bill (Ferret) caught one mouth hooked on Sunday by Aunt Betty when we were sratching. Hope it doesn't cause another MCZ. I mentioned it to Dave but was not going to claim it as I felt it could be used against us. It was returned alive and well and galloped off towards Studland. It provide us with much needed relief and I did offer to take a picture of it with Bill but he felt it was a bit small to mount. Allan. Mike Fox
Think of it as a curled up pipefish!!!! So, fish, yes! Must have been caught on a 5mm shrimp on a No 24 hook!!! Mike
Coddy
Had it been on the species list it might have won the Open comp! Dave
codpiece
Mike they are not Pipe-Fish--sub family Syngnathinae, but a sub species family in their own right---Syngnathidae. (very distantly related) their Breeding metholagy, life styles, and feeding requirements are entirely seperate. D.V. Nite Nite.
Leicester Fisheagle
So we can still count a pipefish if we get one? Allan.
