Effing ridiculous system in my very humble opinion!

Why can't they just use traffic lights exactly as in the road? We all know what they mean, they are universally understood.

That would assume that the people who come up with these regulations had some common sense. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

You have to wonder why they have red and flashing red , when both mean that you can not go through.

and surely if it is green with the [Fairly obvious] bridge down you would proceed with caution.

You have to wonder how long it took PHC to come up with this rubbish ph34r.gif

Isn't this the international signal system for bridges etc?

And remember, PHC got it wrong in their first ediditon of the publication regarding the order and meaning!

Yes, doesn't mean it's sensible. All that means is it was decided by committee, which guarantees they've had to compromise to try and please everyone.

When the international system for traffic lights is just 3 lights. Which people understand.

Should be entertaining in the summer, when the Birmingham Navy arrive. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif
