Maverick Martin
Made arrangements to Meet Mark B (Loyal Royal on here) who is on holiday from New Zealand at the boatyard for around 8am. He turned up on the dot of 8 and we set about readying the boat for our little foray over to the west. Everything went like clockwork we were skimming over the water at 20 knots while I was deciding what to target. First stop was Kimmeridge to see if the bream wanted to play...well they didn't but a couple of stroppy Bullhuss had some fun along with one solitary pollock. We(read as I) soon got fed up with that so over to the shambles we went where a couple of other clubs boats were fumbling around. Soon had our bait quota then down with our lines to see what was about. We had bass (just the one) doggies Launce loads of the smallest joeys I've ever caught and 5 turbot up to the 5lb mark We left around 3 o'clock having had a pleasant day in the sun with good company what more could you ask for Mark with two of the tubbies Martin

Neal
Thanks Martin............ Well we "fumbled" around before you got there and we fumbled around long after you left. One Small Turbot to show for our endeavours - which went back and b****r all else other than dogfish. Note to self - must try harder. But the weather was fabulous. Glad to see you putting Mark on the fish. Neal
