Paul D Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 The good news is all the squid for sponsorship from Coles has arrived. I will hang onto it until we know the prognosis. Quote
Rob Posted September 21, 2012 Report Posted September 21, 2012 We will make a call this evening. Safety is our upmost priority! F5 winds gusting to F7 would even make the harbour unfishable! Rob Quote
Maverick Martin Posted September 21, 2012 Report Posted September 21, 2012 Rob Francis PBSBAC Open is postponed for 4 weeks until the 21st October - the wind on Sunday is too unpredictable and we can't risk the F7 that was forecast yesterday! Quote
charlieannear Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Is it wrong for me to be happy that today's weather has been as sh1t3 as the forecast? Quote
Rob Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Met Office forecaster Helen Roberts said, as of 20:00 BST on Sunday, Hurn, in Dorset, had recorded the highest level of rainfall with 27.4mm, while Haywards Heath in West Sussex has had 27mm of rain. Winds of up to 53mph have been recorded at the Isle of Portland in Dorset and at St Catherine's Point on the Isle of Wight, she added. BBC News site. Probably the right call, to postpone, 53mph!!
